Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role:
Our Ngati Porou Oranga - SWiS (Social Worker in Schools) & Attendance Team work with local kura (schools) to promote attendance and support Tamariki, Rangatahi, and their Whanau to reduce and address absenteeism.
We have a permanent part-time 30hour Whanau Oranga Attendance Kaiarahi position available, covering Ruatoria and Te Araroa.
Reporting to our SWiS & TSAS Manager, we are looking for an Attendance Kaiarahi who is passionate about working with our Tamariki, Rangatahi, and Whanau. We are looking for someone who has the ability to positively influence and support our Whanau, be non-judgemental, and see the potential in our young people.
