Whānau Wellbeing & Support Service provides support for whānau who are in crisis, or at high risk of poor life outcomes.
Our Whānau Wellbeing Kaiāwhina provide counselling support for addictions, as well as offer hands-on mentoring for our rangatahi that may need a positive role model in their life. Whānau will receive guidance to identify their aspirations, help in navigating their journey towards overcoming issues, and restoration of safety and wellbeing within their whanau.
Whānau Wellbeing Service referrals come from all walks of life, other services in the community, other rohe and self-referrals are also welcome.
A criteria for this service is that kaiāwhina work with the whānau as a whole.
The wellbeing of the whānau depends on each of its members, as the journey to mauri ora involves not only the referee but the whānau!
