Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role:
Te Pae Oranga (TPO) is an Iwi and Community-led service that works in partnership with Police to address crime, prevent re-offending and provide wrap-around support services to address behavioural and social issues of offenders.
Reporting to the Whanau Engagement Manager, we are looking for supportive and empathetic kaimahi who have a caring, non-judgmental approach with excellent community networks, a sound understanding of whakawhanaungatanga, with the ability to connect and communicate with whanau from all walks of life.
This role plays a key part in working with offenders and their whanau to provide support, in-depth initial assessments, high-level interventions, and service coordination to achieve positive life outcomes and prevention of re-offending.
This is a Permanent Full-time position based in Gisborne.
