Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role:
Ngati Porou Oranga and our Bail Services Team work in partnership with NZ Corrections to provide a Tikanga Māori-led approach to supporting defendants and their whanau through the court's bail and remand system. Collectively, we ensure defendants have access to necessary support services for them to achieve bail successfully and make positive life changes going forward.
We have one Permanent Full-time position available for an immediate start based in Gisborne with some travel required to the East Coast.
Reporting to the Intensive Services Manager we are looking for kaimahi who are passionate about working alongside whanau from all walks of life, with the ability to be non-judgemental, who see the potential in our whanau, and who have the experience and knowledge to support and leverage their strengths to engage, grow, learn, and develop new interests to make positive changes.
