We are very excited to welcome Dr Emma Clare to our Te Whare Hauora o Puhi Kai Iti team!

Tēnā koutou,  

Ko Emma Clare tōku ingoa, he tākuta hou ahau ki Te Whare Hauora o Puhi Kai iti.

I whānau mai ahau ki Tūranganui-a-Kiwa. Kei te noho tōnu ōku whanaunga tata kei kōnei.

He tangata tiriti ahau.

Ko taku hoa tāne me aku tamariki nō Ngāpuhi, nō Tautoro, engari he whakapapa ōna ki Ngāti Porou, ki Te Araroa. Ko Te Whata tōna ingoa whānau.

I am grateful for the opportunity to work for Ngāti Porou and hope to contribute to a service striving for equity in health outcomes for the whānau here. My passion is empowering patients and families with the knowledge and tools they need to feel confident in their health journey. I have special interests in women and children's health, including breastfeeding medicine and fertility.
